Velvet Shoes!!

About three years ago i bought some fabulous deep pinky-red, velvet shoes. I have hardly really worn them, but looking at the new heels for the fall, i see that velvet is everywhere!! I especially like the ones at TOPSHOP, as seen in this pic. I'm going to dust off my gorgeous shoes and wear them proudly!!

Sweet September

Hi Friends! Sorry i have been MIA for a while! I have returned from my vacation and i'm back to scanning the net for fashion inspiration as i look ahead to the new season. Fall is here! It's my fave time of year because you can still be outside during the day and be warm, but can also get cosy in big knits in the evenings. I think it's the season that 'suits' me most, and the time of year when i most enjoy getting dressed in the morning.

I thought i'd mark my return to regular blogging after being away with a stream of inspo for the Fall. More to come....

Some August inspo in the form of gorgeous hair and accessories in some fall 2011 street style, a taste of the Market HQ and Planet Blue campaigns (loving the rings!) and, of course, the stunning Rosie HW paving the way in polished but casual day wear. I'm feeling inspired.

Hair at D&G

These pics from the Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2011 shows caught my eye. I love the romantic hair - twisted back loosely and complemented with large accessories. The stars are great too...

Green with envy

I am loving this color for the fall - for clothing, bags, shoes, nail polish... it's such a bold green but it's very soft and understated. I particularly want a silk blouse in this shade - just like the one in the Fendi collection.

A Taste of Fall

This gorgeous collection from former Paul & Joe designer Diane Goldstein Sitbon, has caught my eye. I know it's not Fall yet in realtime, but in fashion-time it's all about the fall. This Parisian based line, April, May, is feminine but classic and modern, with beautiful tailoring and bohemian cuts. I love the mix of smart and casual, nudes and greys. The hair is lovely too.
